CC Metall AB produces architectural drawings, floor plans and sketch proposals for homes, extensions, conversions, apartments, premises and property projects.

The drawings can be used as a basis for decisions, for building permit applications, quotation requests or further design and planning.

We are based in Gränna and work digitally with clients in Sweden and the rest of Europe.

How can we help?

We produce drawings for projects including:

  • new and altered floor plans

  • extensions and conversions

  • villas and holiday homes

We can work from existing drawings, photographs, measurements, hand-drawn sketches and inspiration images.

What can be included?

Depending on the project, the assignment may include:

  • needs analysis

  • one or more sketch proposals

  • floor plans

  • elevation drawings

  • section drawings

  • simple material and design proposals

  • documentation for building permit applications or quotations

The quotation specifies which drawings, revisions and delivery formats are included.

Sketch proposals and building permit drawings

A sketch proposal is used to explore and compare different solutions.

Building permit drawings are more detailed and adapted for the municipality’s review. They may include, for example, floor plans, elevation drawings, section drawings and a site plan.

The quotation always states whether the assignment includes sketch proposals, building permit drawings or both.

How the process works

  1. You send us drawings, photographs, measurements and a description of the project.

  2. We review the material and let you know if anything needs to be added.

  3. You receive a quotation specifying the scope, price and delivery time.

  4. A drawing proposal is prepared and sent for review.

  5. Agreed changes are made.

  6. The finished drawings are delivered digitally.

What information do we need?

For an initial assessment, it is helpful if you send:

  • a brief project description

  • existing drawings

  • photographs

  • the main dimensions

  • wishes regarding rooms and functions

  • hand-drawn sketches or inspiration images

  • information about what the drawings will be used for

  • the requested delivery date

It is not a problem if the information is incomplete. We will let you know what additional information is needed.

What is not automatically included?

The following items are included only if stated in the quotation:

  • site plan and municipal map documentation

  • submission of the building permit application

  • on-site measurements

  • structural drawings and calculations

  • electrical, plumbing and ventilation design

  • fire safety and energy design

  • certified control manager

  • geotechnical investigations

  • external consultant costs

Practical and feasible proposals

CC Metall AB combines CAD and technical drawing expertise with experience from construction, manufacturing and installation.

We therefore take into account appearance, function, dimensions, materials and how the solution can be implemented in practice.

Frequently asked questions

Can you produce several floor plan options?

Yes. The number of alternative proposals and revisions is specified in the quotation.

Can the drawings be used for a building permit application?

Yes, when building permit drawings are included in the assignment. A simple sketch proposal is not automatically a complete building permit package.

Can the work be carried out remotely?

Yes. Many projects can be completed using photographs, existing drawings, sketches and verified measurements.

Are structural drawings included?

No. Structural drawings and structural calculations are ordered separately when required.

Can you guarantee that the building permit will be approved?

No. The municipality reviews the application and makes the decision regarding the building permit.
