Our Different Types of Projects

Building Permit Drawings

We provide drawings for extensions, alterations, façade changes, garages, carports, storage buildings, entrances, balconies, residential buildings and commercial premises, among other projects.

Building permit documentation may include a site plan, floor plans, elevation drawings and section drawings.

Architectural Drawings

We prepare floor plans, concept sketches and architectural drawings for residential buildings, extensions, alterations, premises and property development projects.

The documentation can be used for decision-making, building permit applications, requests for quotations or continued design development.

Structural Engineering Services

We assist with structural drawings, structural calculations and the design and sizing of load-bearing building components.

This may include:

- openings in load-bearing walls

- beams and columns

- structural supports and load transfers

- floor structures

- roof structures

- extensions

- roof lifts and additional storeys

- foundation structures

- stairs, railings and balconies

- steel, timber and concrete structures

The quotation specifies which calculations, drawings, checks and any required signatures or certifications are included.

Engineering Services and Technical Drawings

We prepare technical drawings and CAD documentation in which dimensions, materials, connections, details and fixings must be clearly presented.

The documentation can be used by clients, builders, structural engineers, manufacturers and installers.

Fabrication Drawings

We prepare fabrication drawings for stairs, railings, gates, steel frames, timber products, fittings, jigs, fixtures and other custom-made products.

Depending on the project, the delivery may include PDF, DWG, DXF and STEP files, as well as material lists, bills of materials and cutting lists.

Cultural Heritage Projects

We assist with documentation, drawings and technical information for older buildings and culturally or historically sensitive environments.

This may include railings, gates, fittings, entrance structures, decorative metalwork and the recreation of historic building components.

Reference Projects

On this page, we will also present selected projects for which the customer has approved the publication of photographs and project information.

A project reference may include:

- type of project

- project location

- the customer’s requirements

- the documentation that was available at the beginning

- the drawings or calculations prepared by CC Metall AB

- the problems that needed to be resolved

- the materials or structures involved

- delivered documents and file formats

- how the documentation was used

- photographs or extracts from drawings

- the customer’s comments about the collaboration

For a structural engineering project, the reference may describe:

- which load-bearing component was affected

- which conditions needed to be checked

- whether beams, columns or fixings were designed and sized

- which structural drawings were delivered

- how the documentation was used by the builder or contractor

We do not publish customer details, drawings, calculations or photographs without the customer’s approval.
